Date(s) - Apr 29 (Sunday)
9:30 am - 1:00 pm

Sunday, April –  29th is a very auspicious day. It is the full moon day of the month of Vaishakha on which Gautam Buddha was born 2500 years ago. Hence the day is remembered as Buddha Purnima.  The day has a special significance for all kriyavans because Pujya Shree Gurudev Paramahamsa Hariharanandaji was born on this day in 1907 (it was May 27th as per Western Calendar).

We will celebrate this day in the morning half with worship, homa, meditation, chanting, singing, and remembrance.

(Morning Program)

9:30 am – Worship of Guru Paduka, Homa (fire ceremony), Chantings
11:45 am – Reflection on teachings of Shree Gurudev
12:30 pm – Prasad/Lunch for all

(Please note that the above program would be conducted in the ashram premises only, that is 3400 Earl Dr., Joliet. The Spring Midwest retreat will continue at Ganges, MI and simultaneously will be having a small celebration there)
